1% for Public Lands
What:
1% for Public Lands is a program of the Kittitas Stewardship Fund that raises money for projects that keep Kittitas County’s public lands healthy, accessible, and safe for all to enjoy.
How:
Funds are raised by participating businesses collecting a voluntary 1% donation on the gross sales of their goods and services. These business partners then send the collected donations to the Kittitas Stewardship Fund, which distributes the money to local projects and programs via an annual grant application process.
Participating Businesses
There’s no limit to what kind of business can participate, or any minimum donation commitment. No donation is too big or too small. 1% for Public Lands supports projects throughout Kittitas County; we welcome any business that benefits from outdoor recreation tourism to join us!
